Hardware requirements.

We designed EasyVFR to run on a range of widely available computers, tablets and cell phones. After all, no-one has the same preferences, taste and budget, but all of us would like to take to the skies as best informed as we can. EasyVFR is available for iOS, Android, Windows 7 and later, OS X and Windows Phone 8. All of these are interconnected via the PocketFMS Cloud, so you can plan on one machine yet fly with another.

The EasyVFR and AirspaceAVOID apps are available to PocketFMS users at no extra charge, and communicate with other versions on your account via the PocketFMS Cloud. There are some free versions of AirspaceAVOID as well!

External GPS receivers.

Since most mobile devices have an integrated GPS receiver, you probably do not need a separate one. However, modern BlueTooth GPS receivers can be used if they comply with your device's Location Service. You may also use your Android phone's GPS receiver for your tablet via this utility.
