PocketFMS Pricing.

PocketFMS is not for sale, but instead uses a subscription system like a newspaper or magazine. You can purchase a subscription for the period of a year at a time. If you do not have a valid subscription but would like to have one, simply make sure you have the latest version of PocketFMS installed. PocketFMS Desktop will prompt you to subscribe, which you can conveniently do by pressing its [Subscribe] button. A simple, 4-step process takes you towards your subscription.

There is no start-up or entry fee, just the subscription price - which includes everything. No additional costs for maps for other regions, weather, additional programs or what more have you. Payment can be done either via PayPal, credit card or by making a bank transfer.

As you may have noticed, PocketFMS is brought to you by the PocketFMS Foundation. A Foundation is a not-for-profit organization (we're legally not allowed to make a profit, we're only allowed to pay our expenses!), so at this time we can bring PocketFMS to you at a friendly price of €150 a year (yep, that's 41 cents a day!). If you are a PocketFMS Donor (i.e. you have made a Donation of €50 or more to us before 01APR2007), your annual subscription fee is cut in half - 50% discount for you, every year, life-long. This will automatically be detected and applied.

Basically it's safe to say that your subscription will start at a date that's in your favor. Being 'too early' never costs you any days, but might gain you some.
