How to use PocketFMS.
Flight planning in PocketFMS is quite intuitive and will take loads of work from your shoulders, though a certain time investment is inevitable. As with any complex modern navigation system, becoming familiar with the philosophy will take some studying. To help you get acquainted with the very basics, we offer:

In the step-by-step tour (10 steps) you can see how PocketFMS can make your life easier while flight planning, in-flight and post-flight. The instruction videos over the very basics of using PocketFMS and are designed to help you grasp the idea of how to use it. The following pages explain preparing a trip from EHLE (Lelystad, the Netherlands) to EDDW (Bremen, Germany), and will show some features of PocketFMS. We'll skip the part about installing & launching PocketFMS, selecting your aircraft and downloading weather information.
Please note that the entire tour you can experiment along if you have a version of PocketFMS running, either the PC or CE version. One of the advantages of PocketFMS is that most functionality is present in both versions! In order to exactly reproduce this tour you'd need to have information loaded for EHAA (Amsterdam) FIR and EDDW (Bremen) FIR.
