50 mile marks on track line?

When I plan longer journeys I usually start from my home base and set a destination. But it is impossible to keep an overview over the whole distance while at the same time displaying all airfields and strips along the track. Is it possible to build a distance marker into the track line, eg. for every 50 or 100 NM? Not that I need it every day, or fly only the most exciting x.country, but this would help in planning those once a year trips.
