How to reach the PocketFMS Foundation?

Contact the PocketFMS Crew.Before you do, please check if it's really necessary to contact us. This sounds a bit harsh, but we find ourselves spending much more time in answering questions that are in the manual, on the forum or in the FAQ than we'd like! Remember that the ongoing development of PocketFMS is something you also benefit from. Don't be afraid to contact us, but be sure it's for a proper reason! We usually respond within a day.

Information sources. Please make sure that you at least use the latest versions of both program (current version ) and manual (current version ) before asking questions or reporting bugs.

  You might also find answers in:
  - The manual. With PocketFMS Desktop running, press the [F1] key or navigate to Help | Help topics. There's a Search function built in the Help file that might be of use. At the manual's end there's also a FAQ and a list with terms and abbreviations used.
  - The PocketFMS forum. Also equipped with a Search function, the forum is a great place to exchange information. If you're can't find what you're looking for you can make a post in the forum, and chances are that another user just might be able to help you. The PocketFMS Crew are also frequently monitoring the forum, adding comments as necessary. Besides all that, it's a nice place to meet other PocketFMS users and become a part of our community!
  - The Content Delivery System (CDS). This is where we place information that's potentially interesting for all PocketFMS users, especially critical information.

Lost passwords are the cause of a lot of emails being sent to us:
  - Your Registration Number / Members Only password, which you received when you registered. After pressing the [Lost Registration Nr] button on the left, you will be asked for your email address as used when you registered. If the email address is indeed found in our database, the matching Registration Number will be emailed to that address. We usually use the email address PayPal sends us, unless you've in the past asked us to change it.
  - Your forum password, which you have entered when joining the forum. If you've lost that password, you can press the [Lost Forum password] button on the left. After filling in some required info your password will be emailed to you.

If all attempts remain futile or you no longer have access to a particular email account, please contact us. Press the [Contact the Crew] button on the left and please select the most appropriate subject - this will encertain that your message is sent to the right person, preventing unnecessary delays. If you think you have found an error or have an addition to the PocketFMS AeroData, please use the [AeroData remark] button on the left. This assures your message goes to the right person straight away.

Can't or won't use the mail forms?

If the aforementioned resources can't help you out we invite you to click the [Contact the Crew] button on the left. If for some reason you can't or won't use the form, the last resort would be mailing our Please use the subject line, and select a subject that actually states what your message is all about. Over the years we've seen literally thousands of emails called "PocketFMS question" drifting by amongst other more relevantly named messages. Guess which ones will be answered first . .
